I made a couple of cards this week that you'll see later.  They are for birthdays coming up.

In the mean time, here is the card I made for the swap I do.

I also made some Valentine's Day cards for friends and family.

This last one I made for the hubby.

I just took a stencil online class and wanted to use what I learned.

It was lots of fun to make and he really liked it.

Every 4 weeks we have our choice of a square or round card.

As you can see, this is a round one.  It was fun to make.  

I didn't like it at first, but the more I looked at it I liked better.

I do a card swap with a friend each week.  We are use the same sketch but do our own thing.  We have been doing this for over a year now.  It's really fun to see how we each interpret the sketch.  Sometime our card are very much alike but other times they are really different.  We do not have a theme and can do whatever we like.  I really enjoy getting her cards each week.  It bets only getting bills!

Here are a few of the cards I made over the last few weeks.  I will most more after they have been mailed.

Since we are in December, I made this card.  It was mailed last week.

You really can't tell but the "O" in Joy is a 3D ornament.

I think I'm back

I know I've been gone for a long time but I think I'm back.  I'm going to try and keep this blog going.  I will try, key word try, to post what I'm doing.

We have been building a house at my ranch in South Texas for the last 4 years.  I seems like when we first started all it did was rain, so the progress has been very slow.  The house is almost finished.  All that's left is the trim in the upstairs.  I try to spend as much time as I can there as often as I can.

Here is a card I made for a friend for her birthday.  I hope she likes it.

I'm back. I played with this blog over the weekend and got most of it fixed then when my hubby got home he took over. I hope you like the way it looks now. Let me know what you think.
