Create 2017 - Bonus

Thursday evening a bonus project was posted I didn't get to make my card until the weekend as I went to the Great American Scrapbook show in Arlington on Friday.

The project was to use dry embossing.  I have a ton of embossing folders but wanted to try using a background die to emboss my card.  It was really easy to do.  Here is the card I made:

I'm not sure of the card base color but couldn't find anything I liked better.

Create 2017 - Glitzy Glitter

The last day has us using glitter.  I die cut a flower on some cardstock I covered with double sided tape.  I added the glitter.  For the background I used a stencil and distress ink.

The Create team has added a bonus technique.  I will have my card tomorrow.

Create 2017 - Sensational Sliders

Day 4 was all about slider cards.  For this card I made a slider.  I cut 3 sides from the middle of a panel.  I added a pull card and attached it to the bottom of the panel.  I used an MFT stamp for my image.  When I had finished my card it still needed something so I added the butterflies.  I have 2 pictures, one closed and the other opened.

Thanks for looking.

Create 2017 - Spectacular Shaker

Day 3 has us making shaker cards.  I really wanted to do something for the Fourth of July so I did a star shaker.  Of course I couldn't find any stars for the shakers so I die cut them.  This is really an easy card.

Camp Create 2017 - Remarkable Resist

For day 2 the assignment was to make a card with resist.  I clear embossed a stamp for the background.  I then watercolored over the entire card.  I die cut the flowers and added a sentiment.
Here is the my card:

Camp Create 2017 - Wonderful Watercolor

If you follow mftstamps.com you know about their Camp Create.  Their camp counselors will share five crafts this week.  Today was day 1 and we were to use watercolors.

I wet the watercolor paper, then dropped 2 different colors of blue on to the wet paper.  While it was still wet I scrunched up some plastic food wrap and placed it over the paper.  When it dried I removed the plastic wrap and used this as my background.  I stamped and die cut some flowers and leaves from MFT.  Then added the thanks.  Here is the card I made.
